Dear jstyle,
jstyle is always a good read with a lot of interesting articles. At the very least your stories are very diverse, so there is always something there to interest my tastes.
I was surprised and impressed many times over as I flicked through the pages of your autumn edition. First, it reminded me of my own personal experiences in Japan with stories such as "City to Country to City again" and even the section on Japanese manners and etiquette. Those articles in particular had me reminiscing of Japan.
I was pleasantly surprised with the environmental stories regarding Osaka's green future
and to read about the Japanese companies working on environmentally friendly projects right here in Australia. Personally, I didn't think there was a lot of recycling in Japan so it was refreshing to hear that there are movements in Japan to increase environmental awareness and what every person can do to help. It was also a bonus as the story was on Osaka, where I have spent a lot of my time and where my wife is also from.
Lastly, I have to mention the travel and calendar sections. As I'm planning to head back to Japan, it is always good to hear about recommended areas. And with the calendar, it is also good to know what Japanese-themed events are coming up here in Sydney so I can feel that nostalgia of Japan again here in my own backyard.
Arigato for your quality magazine.

Letter to the editor!!
As a fervent admirer of Japan and Japanese culture, I have always browsed through the Nichigo Press newspapers with my limited Japanese reading skills. I am so pleased that I am now able to read in English about current Australia-Japan issues and learn when Japanese cultural events are occurring in Australia, and find out about Australian events in Japan. jstyle has also been valuable to pass on to friends who are always asking me which Japanese restaurants they should go to in Sydney! Congratulations on a great publication. I look forward to reading many more editions.

Your magazine rocks!
I love every part of it. My wife and I just moved to Australia three years ago from the US, where we met. Two years ago we got married here in Sydney. jstyle helped me to understand my wife's culture and her way of living, making me appreciate it. Since the first time I discovered jstyle, I have been trying to get your magazine. Unfortunately I missed the winter 2007 edition due to overseas travel. Can you please tell me where can I get it? Thank you as it means a lot to me.
I also wanted to ask if you could write about some religious people like Padre Lionel Marsden, Father Tony Glynn and Father Paul Glynn for their work on reconciliation that has inspired many Japanese and Westerners. They are some of the people who bridge the relationship between Japan and Australia. Also, perhaps jstyle could write about the Japanese Catholic community in Sydney. Your social scene page might be used to show the community celebrating Mass, which they do every fourth Sunday of the month at 11.30am. Thank you jstyle for listening to us. God bless you!

Dear jstyle,
Congratulations and thank you for such a great magazine. You guys seem to a have bit of everything; current affairs, pop culture, recipes, quick Japanese lesson etc, a great read. I liked the article about cha-do and then reading about the natural beauty of northern Japan (sorry I cannot remember the name of the area and my mate stole my copy). There is a restaurant list at the back of jstyle but is it possible to see more information on them? I'd love to try one of them but a bit more info would be great. Also will jstyle be showing anything about what's hot in Japan at the moment? I heard they're always a season or two ahead with technology, fashions or just "the weird" all the time and it would be great to know what's around the corner.
Thanks again and keep up the good work.
