Japanese astronaut's space success

Astronaut Takao Doi, 53, is back on solid ground after a successful 16-day mission to the International Space Station in March. Doi was one of seven crew to board NASA's space shuttle Endeavour, which carried parts of a Japanese laboratory to the station. The laboratory, named "Kibo", is a micro-gravity research facility that, when completed, will be the largest and last research module to be installed in the ISS.
Returning to Earth on March 28, Doi smiled as he left the shuttle, pronouncing himself "fine" and the mission a success.
