Jetstar's new Osaka run

Qantas subsidiary and budget airline Jetstar Airways has been offering daily flights between Sydney and Osaka's Kansai International Airport since March. Passengers can now fly Sydney-Osaka and Osaka-Brisbane-Sydney in Jetstar's 303-seat A330-200 Airbuses at extremely competitive rates.
In mid-March, Australia's International Air Services Commission allowed Jetstar a two-year code-sharing agreement with Japan Airlines. In doing so, it is hoped the new service will increase the number of outbound passengers to Japan as well as the number of inbound Japanese visitors to Australia.
