JAL rides sky-high with frequent fliers

Japan Airlines (JAL) has strengthened its frequent flyer program through joining the oneworld Alliance in April.
In addition to its existing partner airlines, JAL Mileage Bank members can now receive award tickets on the entire oneworld network which includes Qantas, British Airways, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific and others.
A discounted return economy ticket from Sydney to London will accrue more than 15,500 mileage points. These can now be redeemed as a Qantas domestic return flight flying Sydney to Ayers Rock, Melbourne to Cairns or Brisbane to Adelaide, to name a few.
Members can also redeem JAL domestic flights, hotel accommodation in Australia, Japan and many other parts of the world, or a voucher for in-flight duty-free purchases.
Domestic and international flights operated by other oneworld Alliance airlines also accrue miles for JAL Mileage Bank members.
Membership to JAL Mileage Bank is free and no annual fees apply. For details, visit www.au.jal.com or call direct on 1800 688 747.
