New massage drains the system

The latest beauty craze in Japan is a facial massage that can be done right in your own home with only your hands. The massage was created to stimulate lymph nodes in the neck and behind the ears to drain fluid build-up, which can be the cause of many ailments.
Lymph nodes function as a drainage system to absorb and help expel proteins, dead cells, bacteria and other waste products from the body. However, due to lack of exercise, stress and chemical intake, the fluid will accumulate and become harder to flush out. According to the Japan Lymph Massage Society (JLMS), common effects of lymphatic fluid build-up are dull or drooping skin, swelling, painful joints, weight gain, cellulite, as well as a decrease in the body's immunity.
Using both hands, massage downwards on the neck lymph nodes as well as behind the ears. Massage your jaw line, lower/upper cheeks, around your eyes, and forehead while tracing your fingers back down to the lymph nodes.
Renowned Japanese make-up artist, beauty therapist and masseuse, Yukuko Tanaka, has also adopted the massage and has popularised it further by pairing it with her line of skin products, "Y Method".
The massage has become highly popular because of its easy process and many beauty parlours are now offering it. Regular lymphatic drainage massages can maintain a smooth flow of fluid, healthy lymph nodes, not to mention better skin and general well-being.
